Varilone Scholarship Awarded

Jeanne Varilone and her daughter and son in law Heidi and Chris Thompson have been awarding The Tony Varilone Memorial Scholarship to deserving students for the past 8 years. At the time of his untimely death in December 2015 Tony was president of the Caribou  Historical Society  and he worked tirelessly to preserve and share our local history. The family sponsors these scholarships and awards them through the historical society to honor Tony’s memory and  hopefully spark some interest in  the youth of Caribou County to learn about and help preserve our local history.
