SSHS Senior Awards Assembly

Prior to the full graduation of SSHS seniors this week, the school held a senior awards assembly.  

The assembly gave students a last chance to meet as a class and look back on their time before the official graduation.

Memories were shared by Kayden Harrison, Madilyn Kempe, Konner McWilliams and Mollie Renfroe, as well as closing remarks from Soleil Somsen.

Kimi Nicole Hopkins, who has been with many of the students during their whole school careers, spoke to the assembled group and provided them with advice and comfort for the road ahead.

A slide show of senior memories was shown, and Honor Cords and CTE Awards (printed below) were given out.

Students were honored for achievements in a number of areas, including Career and Technical diplomas.  A full rundown of the senior awards, including academic honors and CSI graduates, will run with the graduation story next week, but here are the CTE degrees as awarded (some students received them in multiple disciplines):
