Tiger/Grizz Invitational
The Tiger/Grizz Invitational is the top high school track meet in Southeast Idaho each season. It brings in dozens of teams and some of the best athletes in Idaho and its surrounding states. Last weekend a select few of our local athletes had the opportunity to participate in the meet and some of them were even able to qualify for the finals and place quite well.
Those that qualified for finals were as follows:
Carter Mecham (Grace) 4th place in the 400 meters
Adrian Mejia (Grace) 25th place in the 800 meters
Adrian Mejia (Grace) 41st place in the 1600 meters
Landon Moldenhauer (Soda Springs) 39th place in the 3200 meters
Jonah Wilkerson (Grace) 4th place in the 300 meter hurdles
Cole Garbett (Soda Springs) 2nd place in the shot put
Cole Garbett (Soda Springs) 1st place and new school record in the discus
Gavin Draper (Grace) 10th place in the javelin
Landon Moldenhauer (Soda Springs) 10th place in the pole vault
Brooklyn Porter (Grace) 15th place in the 800 meters
Ashley King (Grace) 33rd place in the 800 meters
Brooklyn Porter (Grace) 15th place in the 1600 meters
Ellie Wood (Soda Springs) 19th place in the 1600 meters
Brielle Yost (Grace) 5th place in the Freshman 100 meter hurdles
Brielle Yost (Grace) 7th place in the Freshman shot put
Haiden Osborn (Grace) 35th in the discus
Rosie Harris (Soda Springs) 8th place in the pole vault
