CMC health fair held in Grace; Event Center on April 24

The nearly complete clinic building in Grace.

Last week, a community health fair was held in Grace to provide health information, services, and a way to interact with healthcare providers without leaving town.

Former Grace mayor Jackie Barthlome said, “Thanks so much to Caribou Medical Center for coming down and doing the health fair for us!  Big shoutout to Lindsay Nuffer, Heather Robinson, Stacie Meskel, Mel Corbett, and Heather Torgesen.  We really do appreciate it.”  There were at least 86 people, at last report, who came and got their bloodwork done.  The health fair is an annual event that brings medical professionals to town to draw for blood panels and other important health maintenance needs.

What the nature of the event might be in the future remains to be seen, as progress continues rapidly on the Grace clinic, which should be opening its doors this spring to patients in the Grace area.  The structure began going up over the last month or so, and is taking clear shape across from the City Park.

In the near term, CMC will be holding its own annual Health Fair, scheduled for April 24.  This year, the Fair will be held at the Event Center in Grace.  More information will be printed once it is available.
