Creative Corner

These comic panels were sent in to the paper with the notes below attached to them.  It inspired me to set aside space in upcoming editions of the paper to feature the creative work of local artists for everyone to enjoy. “My name is Taylor Spurrier. My 6 year old sister has been creating adorable comics and I was wondering if there was a way I could have some of them published in the paper to inspire her to keep it up. Please let me know if something like this is a possibility. 

We live here in soda. She is 6 and in 1st grade. Her name is Catalina. Here are the pictures from the one she made today. She came up with them and drew the pictures and my mom wrote in the words she told her to write.”
