Chadwicks to head 4th of July Parade

The Chadwicks were selected as the Parade Grand Marshals for 2025 by the Rotary Club.

Independence Day is right around the corner—in fact, it’s literally the day after this paper makes it out to readers!  Inside this edition, you’ll find a schedule of events for year’s Independence Day festivities, the Bancroft Pioneer Day Royalty, and update on the fire recovery in Bancroft, advice for pet owners during the fireworks, pictures of the rec league ball teams, county and city reports, and much more!  It’s a holiday, so we hope you have a chance to get out (or stay in) and relax.  And we hope that while you do so, we are able to provide you some reading material to keep you busy.

The Rotary Club announced that it has selected Frank and Jo Holland Chadwick as the Grand Marshals of this year’s parade.

Frank Chadwick has been a great member of the Caribou County community for nearly eight decades. Born in Soda Springs in 1946, Frank has dedicated time to service and businesses starting in Grace, Idaho.  He married his wife, Jo Holland, in 1969.  He graduated from Idaho State University, later serving with the US Army at Fort Benning, Georga. In 1971, they returned to Soda Springs where he built a family and local businesses, including Chadwick’s Department Store, Security State Bank, and Cedar View Supper Club.

Frank has spent many years involved with the Rotary Club, Elks Club and Lions club.  He later developed The Chadwick Foundation to provide grants and collegiate scholarships for our local youth.  He has spent many years with the Caribou County Hospital Foundation serving as Treasurer and a sitting board member.

He is a wonderful father of three (Nicki Jo, Matthew and Garett) and seven grandchildren (Jackson, Connor, Trey, Emmy, Leah, Logan and Kayla).

When contacted, he wanted to express his gratitude for the recognition and honor of serving as the Grand Marshal for the 2025 Fourth of July Caribou County parade.
