Museum hours over the 4th of July weekend

Busy long 4th of July weekend coming up starting next Thursday July 4th. The celebrations starting on Thursday offer plenty of time for the usual July 4th festivities and some time also for some cultural historical exploration. The Museum located on the 2nd floor of The Enders building will be closed on the 4th, but open for normal business hours on the 5th and 6th. The DUP Museum (The little log cabin) located on the south end of geyser hill on Center Street will be open right after the parade on the 4th and from 1:00 pm to 4:00 p.m. both the 5th and 6th. The hours at The Caribou Historical Society Museum at 100 E. Hooper will be from right after the parade until 4:00 p.m. on the 4th and from 10:00a.m. until 4:00 p.m. both the 5th and 6th. All three museums have some interesting pieces of local history and be sure to watch for the Caribou Historical Society’s first parade entry in a very long time. It’s an eye catcher and will be available for closer inspection back at the museum after the parade!
