Bancroft Community Carnival
Friday, June 28 is Bancroft’s Community Carnival! Dinner will start at 6:00 p.m. at Bancroft Memorial Park, and run through 7:30. Those with last names from A-M are asked to bring desserts, and those with last names N-Z are asked to bring side dishes.
After dinner, the evening will involve lawn games, a bouncy house, slide, giant bubbles, and face painting.
A movie will follow at dusk—bring law chairs or blanket.
Bancroft Pioneer Day Fireworks
Fireworks are planned for July 24 at 9:30, and are sponsored by City of Bancroft, Bancroft Trading Post, the Blake and Sandy Modersitzki Family, the David and Karen Modersitzki Family, and the Darrell Ackerman Family. You can join the list of community sponsors for as little as $20. Contact Mike Ackerman at 603-930-7258 for more information.
North Gem Library
The North Gem library is open on Tuesdays mornings starting at 9 a.m. for the summer.
Caribou County Senior Center
The Caribou County Senior Center will be closed on July 4 and July 5 in observance of the 4th of July holiday. Meals will not be delivered on July 5. If you would like a frozen meal to replace the July 5 meal, please call 208-547-3007 or let your Meals on Wheels driver know before July 2.
Rotary Club parade in Soda Springs
The Soda Springs Chamber of Commerce is in charge of the vendor booths for this year’s Rotary Club Independence Day parade in Soda Springs, and is still accepting applications for vendor booths. Contact Debbie Dumont at 208-521-7024 if you are interested in setting up a booth or table at the City Park.
Southeast Idaho Quilt Show
The Southeast Idaho Quilt Show at the Oregon/California Trail Center in Montpelier is open from May 24 through October 15. Admission is free.
