Local girl wins Bingham Healthcare art contest
Ava McDowell of Soda Springs holds her award winning art piece.
14 year old Ava McDowell of Soda Springs won 1st place for her age category, 13-17, in an art contest through Bingham Healthcare. Her art piece will be displayed at Grove Creek Women's Health Clinic in Blackfoot. Her prize for winning is $200. She extends a big thank you to Diane Olson, her art teacher, for her encouragement, patience and kindness.
The letter from the committee who selected her piece reads in part: “Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition of your talent and creativity. We were truly captivated by your piece, and it stood out among the many impressive submissions we received. We are excited to showcase your work at our clinic.”
