Cutler Wins On Senior Night

GRACE – On Friday night Grace hosted North Fremont, Ririe, and Soda Springs for some wrestling dual action. Grace would face NF and Ririe in the duals. Before the wrestling action got going though, it was senior night for the Grizzly’s lone senior wrestler Wyatt Cutler. Wyatt has been a stand out wrestler for Grace dating back to his little league days and is a reigning state champion. Wyatt was escorted out to center stage by his parents Wayne and Kenna Cutler. After the fanfare on the mat Wyatt made a special trip to the stands to give his grandma Janet Wheeler flowers and a big hug. After Wyatts moment in the spotlight we got to some wrestling action. Grace would start off taking on North Fremont. If you're not a wrestling fan you should be. It is the only sport you can watch where it is probably just as entertaining to watch the crowd as the competitors as they twist and turn in their seats trying to will the kids to move a certain way. Once again in these matchups the numbers game would have an effect on the team scoring but don't let that fool you into thinking Grace isn't full of wrestling talent. Scoring went as follows.

A few of the Lady Grizzlies got in on the action as well. Newman for Grace was the only girl that had a match against NF. Unfortunately she wasn't able to get the win but battled hard. Against Ririe the Grizzlies had five girls participate.
